For wineries

You are already listed. Free.

Every winery in the region is on this site whether or not it has ever heard of us. Here is what that gets you, and what claiming or featuring adds.

Coming soonClaiming and advertising are not open yet — there is no form to fill in and nothing to buy. The listings themselves are live now. Email connect@niagarawineryweekly.ca and we will come to you first when they open.

The facts

Researched by us, free, and identical on every tier — a visitor gets the same answers whether or not a winery has ever paid us. We publish what we can confirm and we are still working through the region, so some of these are thin today. Nothing in this group will ever cost anything.

Claimed

Free. It does not add information — it adds who stands behind it, which is the part a reader cannot check for themselves.

Why the useful stuff is free

Because we would rather the hours be right. Nobody drives out here on the strength of a directory entry that says a winery exists — they drive out because they know it is open at four on a Sunday, what a tasting costs, and whether the dog can come. Putting any of that behind a fee would make the page wrong for everybody in order to protect it.

Claiming is free for the same reason, and it adds no information at all. What it adds is your name against ours: our research says we believe this is right, a verified listing says you told us.

What featuring cannot buy

Facts. A featured winery’s hours are the same hours, its medals the same medals — the full list is on every profile, free — and its events are listed on the same terms as everybody else’s. What featuring buys is the counting, the position and somewhere to send people: your medals added up at the top instead of listed lower down, photographs, your own words, and a button that goes to your booking page rather than your homepage.

That rule is not modesty. It is the only reason being in this directory is worth anything.

Something wrong on your page?

Tell us and we will fix it today, claimed or not. We check every listing against the winery’s own website and we still get things wrong — wineries move, rename and change their hours faster than any directory keeps up.
